The Band has a very active performance diary: playing at concerts, fetes, church services and other community and charity events throughout the year.
On the first Sunday of each month we organise a Band Service, when we accompany the congregational hymns and play a short, varied selection of pieces.
The Band plays carols around Colchester and the village of Boxted in the run up to Christmas which raises money for Band funds and for Colchester Food Bank.
We meet weekly 7.30 - 9.30pm, on Wednesdays in the School Hall, Carters Hill Boxted Cross (postcode - CO4 5YN) and rehearse a mixed program of brass band favourites, modern pieces and hymn tunes.
